10FastFingers is an international platform for competitive touch typing with more than 100,000 daily visitors: typing tests in 54 languages, 24-hour competitions, multiplayer races. The grown platform is being rebuilt from the ground up - and at that scale, every detail counts.
Approach
As part of the relaunch core team we build frontend and real-time features: multiplayer races over WebSockets with a lobby system, rematch, reconnection and anti-cheat integration, typing replays with a ghost cursor and experimental game modes - on a stack of Next.js, TypeScript and Symfony.
Result
A long-term collaboration with a reliable cadence: the platform keeps improving and new features go live in remarkably little time.
