LohnLab digitises payroll cost optimisation through subsidies and salary components - a domain with sensitive data, complex calculation logic and demanding role and permission requirements. Often-vague product ideas needed a clear technical structure.
Approach
We structured the domain logic technically, prioritised it and delivered step by step: multi-tenancy enforced with row-level security in the database, a role model with 24 granular permissions, DATEV imports plus live API sync through a dedicated provider-neutral integration gateway (DATEV, ADDISON), an optimisation engine covering 15+ salary components, dynamic PDF generation and e-signing through LohnLab's own e-sign platform.
Result
